Microsoft has been rapidly pushing beta builds of Windows 10 to gather feedback’s from Windows enthusiasts before the official release of the Windows 10 Anniversary update. The latest release of Windows 10 Build 14393 is a classic example of the Redmond-based company’s continued attempt to reach out to users ahead of the official launch.
Available to Windows Insiders in the fast ring and slated to launch on August 2, the latest Windows 10 Build 14393 features new reliability updates, a bunch of mobile bug fixes. However, users managed to find a bug, which will affect Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 users.
The initial version of Windows 10 Build 14393, which was rolled out yesterday came with a faulty camera driver that could cause blue screens on the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. However, Microsoft was smart enough to push a new driver update within hours which resolved the camera driver problem. If you are facing the problem, you are advised to verify again with Microsoft.
With the new Windows 10 Build 14393 update, Microsoft has enhanced the performance of Start menu, Cortana and Action Center. Moreover, you will be able to mount iPods as mass storage devices.
The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14393 for the mobile update has fixed two battery drain issues for multiple Lumia devices such as the Lumia 535, 640, 735, 830, 930 and Icon. Moreover, the latest update also fixed an issue, which causes massive battery drain when Visual Voicemail syncs voicemail messages on Dual SIM devices such as the Lumia 950 XL. The update also fixes issues which were affecting the voice recorder and associated call recording.

You can also take advantage of dual SIM capabilities of the devices more effectively. Microsoft is planning to release an update for the potential Wi-Fi issues, Bluetooth crash, freeze or reset. Moreover, there are few problems which will occur at the time of entering your PIN when you attempt to pay with a locked device.

According to reports, the new update will provide support for Xbox One, Cortana integration for the console, Linux command-line integration on the desktop, and stylus support via Windows Ink. Microsoft will also introduce biometric authentication via Windows Hello. A notable update will be that Microsoft Edge will provide full support for browser extensions.
The upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary update will be the second major update for Windows 10 since the launch of Windows 10 in July 2015.
