Google is expected to unveil two brand new Nexus smartphones soon. HTC will manufacture both of the upcoming devices named as HTC S1 (Sailfish) and HTC M1 (Marlin). A rendered photograph of the latter has surfaced online showing us how this year’s Nexus will look like.

The image is claimed to be made using extensive evidence received from trusted sources. HTC Marlin shall feature a high-quality aluminum made the uni-body structure. The phone looks similar to the HTC 10 smartphone when viewed from the back. Just the rear camera does not have the visible bump, and there is an added fingerprint sensor.

The render shows both the front and back sides of the smartphone. Keeping up with the Nexus tradition, the device is devoid of physical navigation keys. The phone looks somewhat a hybrid of the Nexus 5X and the HTC 10 smartphones.

The Adreno 530 GPU running at 650 MHz will look after the graphics.

Both the devices are speculated to pack 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. There will be 32 GB and 128 GB storage options, and Google may give a miss to the 64 GB variant. Android 7.0 Nougat shall be at the helm of the smartphones.

The rear camera may remain unchanged from the present Nexus 5X and 6P. Nexus Marlin and Sailfish are rumored to feature the identical 12.3 Mega Pixels back camera. The front camera will be an 8 Mega Pixels shooter. There will be support for 4K 2160p video recording.

The latest USB Type-C port will be present in both the handsets with the usual set of connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. The Sailfish will feature a battery of about 2770mAh, whereas the Marlin will possibly be juiced up by a larger 3450mAh battery.
