Electric bikes, cars and mopeds are trending these days and may keep the trend for a long time as each and every individual is well aware of the escalating fossil fuel prices, its effects on environment, and depleting fossil sources.
It isn’t the fact that electric vehicles are coming for the first time in India, but it may be the first in the case where a big auto brand in India is launching its electric range of vehicles and supporting the aim of going green.
Hero has finally launched it electric scooter—Flash. The Hero Flash is announced as most affordable scoter in the electric two wheeler segments. The weight of the scooter is just 87 kg which enables the vehicle to be more efficient in terms mobility.
Flash is an ideal model and it is made with best technology integration if compared with other e-bikes.
The newly introduced flash is assembled with 250 watt electric motor which is powered by 48 volt, Ah VRLA battery Pack. The company claims that it can travel up to 65km on a single charge. It takes 6-8 hours of time to achieve full charge. The vehicle has been designed in two colors Silver-Black and Red-Black, sport alloy wheels, telescopic front forks, and metal crash guard. The price is estimated as Rs 19,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
There was also one more introduction in electric scooter segment last week. Okinawa Autotech launched its very first e-scooter—Ridge in India and it is priced for Rs 43,720 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Ridge can travel up to 200 km in full charge and has tested top speed of kmph.
