After the revision of its postpaid and prepaid tariffs by Jio, the other operators have been rolling out new plans to entice consumers their way. And now, following Airtel and Vodafone, Idea Cellular has come up with a new scheme—that competes with the Rs 399 plan of Jio—with unlimited calls and daily1 GB data allocation at Rs 357.
The prepaid recharge pack of Idea worth Rs 357 offer unlimited calls and 1 GB 4G/3G data every day with a validity of 28 days. In addition, the user also receives 100 SMS within this plan. On the other hand, the Rs 399 plan of Jio provides unlimited calls, free SMS & roaming, 1 GB data daily, and access to Jio apps.
Besides, Idea also has a plan worth Rs 498 with a validity of 70 days. This plan offers unlimited calls and 1 GB data each day in the Delhi-NCR circle. On the other hand, competitor Jio is offering 1 GB data on daily basis with other freebies on a recharge of Rs 459 for 84 days.
This is the most recent offer from Idea in the ongoing battle against Reliance Jio. Previously this year, Vodafone and Idea declared an association that will make the united entity the biggest telecom operator in the nation, pushing the existing market leader Airtel to 2nd rank. In September, last year, Jio initiated operations with free services, however, has gradually been increasing costs for its plans or slashing gains, such as the slicing the post-FUP speed by half and reduced validity for postpaid users.

And in line, Vodafone is also providing a Rs 399 plan for its prepaid users. Within this new plan, those who opt for Rs 399 recharge will receive 90 GB 4G data for 6 Months together with unlimited STD and local calls. The user should note that this plan is only for those prepaid users who shift to postpaid.
