The photo sharing based social network, Snapchat, has just rolled out the latest addition to its in-app purchases business plan, called ‘Lens Store’, giving users the opportunity to opt for a variety of filters for just 0.99-cents a piece.
The company made it to the headlines last month as well, with the release of the rainbow-vomiting and alike filters, as well as the option to replay 3 snaps for merely $1.
In addition to these updates, the company has debuted the aforementioned Lens Store, which can be accessed by swiping past the selection of free filters that are being offered.
Tap on the icon of the respective lens you favor to pick up the most and then follow the further instructions given by the app. Each lens will cost you 0.99-cents. After the purchase is being completed, the specific lens will be placed in the filters line-up, available for whenever you wish to use it in your snaps. It goes without saying that free lenses are obviously not available for purchase.

In the press release, Snpachat stated that a variety of 30 snaps is going to be available in the Lens Store every day, each combination different from the other. Moreover, popular filters such as the likes of the rainbow puke will be amid the particular variants too.
As far as availability goes, Snapchat mentioned that Lens Store will open today for U.S., UK, Australia, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, with a number of European countries to follow in the near future as well.
It is worth noting that despite being available since September, which is merely two months, lenses have managed to be featured in more than a whopping 10 million snaps on a daily basis, hence it would be safe to assume that the reception of filters could be considered as phenomenally positive from users.
That number surpasses by far the 1 million daily geofiltered snaps, which denote the location that a picture or video was taken.
