Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has been in limelight since its launch of Vivo V5. The older smartphones launched by the company are not as popular as the V5. Hence, to raise the sale of the older smartphones the company decide to make a price cut in the cost of the older smartphones. One such smartphone that has received a price cut lately is the Vivo Y51L. Well, let us have a look at the specs of the smartphone.
The Vivo Y51L sports a 5-inch IPS display and a pixel ratio of 540 x 960. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Speaking of the processor, the phone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 410 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory. This memory can be further expanded to 128 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving towards the connectivity part, the Vivo Y51L features 4G, 3G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM as well. The phone is available only in 1 color version—white.
Speaking of the imaging duties, the Vivo Y51L has 8 MP of the rear camera along with f/2.2 aperture with LED flash, and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is 5 MP and is enough for good selfies. The phone comes with a 2,350mAh battery as well.
Before the price cut, the smartphone was priced at Rs 11,980. But now, post the price cut, the smartphone is priced at Rs 8,990.
Well, even though the handset has received a notable price cut, the specs of the Vivo Y51L not worth it. The low resolution of the screen, lack of good camera especially when the company has Vivo V5 in its pocket and the low battery will hamper the sale of the smartphone. The only thing that has the chance to boost the sale of the smartphone is the 2 GB RAM along with the price cut.
