Microsoft Corporation has confirmed that its department in India will be launching the Lumia 950 and 950 XL Windows 10 Mobile-powered smartphones on Monday, November 30th.
Redmond’s latest jewels were unveiled two months ago in New York city, with a lot of fuss following the two handsets, as they are the first devices to come with the latest Windows 10 Mobile operating system straight out of the box.
The release date of the said phones has been dominating the Indian rumor mill for quite a while now, though it has been finally confirmed that the anticipation will be over on Monday, beginning at 11:15am.
According to Raghuvesh Sarup, Director of Marketing, Mobile Devices at Microsoft India, the respective events will be held in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru simultaneously.
Moreover, the Lumia 950 smartphone made headlines last week, as its pre-orders sold out in US and Canadian Microsoft store, while the Redmond giant promised to refill its inventory ahead of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday annual shopping season.

It is also worth noting that Microsoft did not deliver any jaw-dropping deals for these two during Black Friday- the only deal that drew some attention was the AT&T one, offering the Lumia 950 out of charge under the term of a new contract or an additional fee to your existing one.
As far as specs go, the phablet sports a humongous 5.7-inch display, with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (~518 ppi pixel density), covered by the new corning Gorilla Glass 4, for ultimate scratch and shutter protection.
Underneath the hood, the 950 XL is being powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor housing eight cores, four clocked at 1.5GHz and the rest at 2GHz, coupled with Adreno 430 GPU.
In addition to the above, in order to accommodate the 5.7-inch display, Microsoft has equipped the smartphone with a whopping 3340 mAh battery.
The smaller Lumia 950 shares the same spec sheet with its larger brother, with the sole exception being the display, which measures at 5.2-inches.
