Black Friday 2015 streaming devices: Amazon Fire TV stick, Roku 3, Apple TV and Google Chromecast deals are live

Online streaming of TV series and movies is a system that has been originally developed by Netflix – which recently managed to overcome YouTube in terms of viewership – and now is slowly killing the good old cable that cost a fortune and offered significantly less.

With the above facts being taken under consideration and Black Friday 2015 madness taking place in just a few hours, it is the best time of the year for consumers to pick up a streaming device while staying under budget and also completing their TV top set, after finding their favorite gaming consoles and TVs on sale.

As mentioned in the headline of the deal recap you are reading, we believe that the most prominent streaming gadgets out there are Amazon’s Fire TV stick, Roku’s third generation streaming console ( the fourth gen hasn’t received any substantial price drops), Apple TV and Google’s Chromecast.

Amazon Fire TV stick

Amazon’s home brewed streaming system is available for $24.99 (standard remote edition), saving you $15 – the original price was $39.99.

The Fire TV stick offers over 250,000 TV episodes and movies on Netflix, Amazon Video, HBO GO, and Hulu, as well as games and music. In addition to content, starting in 2016, Amazon will be hosting the new Top Gear hosted by Jeremy Clarkson and company, which used to be BBC’s number one TV show prior to the unfortunate event that resulted to some major reforms.

Amazon touts that the Fire TV stick delivers four times the internal storage and twice the RAM than Google’s Chromecast does, as it is sporting 1GB of RAM and a dual-core CPU.

The device will be in stock on December 5, though pre-orders will start from today. There is a free two-day shipping option for Prime users available as well.

Roku 3

Roku has been one of the oldest players in the field, with its streaming box packing a slew of innovative features.

We found the Roku 3 on BestBuy for $79.99, saving you $20 – the original price was $99.99.

It might cost four times the Fire TV stick, though, as aforementioned, Roku 3 is a much more premium streaming box, boasting voice search, motion-enabled remote control that also packs a 3.5mm headphone jack, thus allowing you to watch your favorites series without disturbing others and much more.

Content wise, the Roku 3 has access to more than 2,000 streaming channels; including Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO GO, Amazon Instant Video, Disney, Crackle, NHL, NBA and MLB, music and games as well.

The deal includes free shipping all across the States as well.

Great article. For those who live outside US like me, you can access Netflix, Hulu and similar media stations on your Roku by using UnoTelly or similar tools.
